What we use and why
1. Strictly necessary
These are always active. Without them the site cannot function — you would not be able to log in, stay logged in, or have your preferences saved.

2. Functional — Maps & search
Off by default. Only loaded after you accept this category.
These cookies are set by Google when you use the map or city search features inside the app. They allow us to display rental listing locations on a map and let you search for cities in the Netherlands.

If you do not accept this category, the map view will not load and the city search autocomplete will be disabled. All other features remain fully available.
3. Analytics — product usage & error monitoring
Off by default. Only loaded after you accept this category.
When enabled, we use PostHog to understand how the platform is used and Sentry to detect and fix technical problems. Both store data in the EU region.

These services are used exclusively for product analytics and stability. They are not used for marketing or advertising. Data is processed in the EU in accordance with GDPR.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies through your browser will prevent Rentrise from working correctly, as authentication cookies are required.
